T's Reading Log VII

T seems to have developed a sudden obsession with books. He would bring a book to the parents or nurses to ask to be read to. He knows that he wants to sit on an adult's laps to flip through pages. Additionally, he seems to have started to appreciate narratives. We borrowed the following books a couple of weeks ago. Each of them consists of one simple narrative which he has enjoyed enormously. He would request to be read to over and over again without getting tired of it.

Book

Old Man and Little Frog
It's almost entering the rainy season here in Japan. People, no matter what age they are, all need some positive thoughts to face this lengthy period of dampness. This book can serve that purpose, I think. A grumpy old man eventually learns from a little boy the philosophy of a happy frog in the rain.
