McEwan, Ian. My Purple Scented Novel. Vintage, 2018.

I read through this short story while T took his nap. Within 20 minutes, I felt being re-baptised in the worship of McEwan, especially at the moment, I am reading his novel with my freshmen reading class. Some of them have learnt to appreciate the beauty of his language and his art in story-telling.

I was thrilled by the story. It speaks so much to my thoughts and dilemma about originality, creativity and academic plagiarism.
